Humans digest more than just food, they digest life. When someone is not digesting life, they cannot digest food properly. When someone is not digesting food, they cannot digest life to the fullest. The purpose of the Digestive Garden is to assist individuals in identifying areas of life and/or diet that will optimize digestion of both food and life. Each person digests differently, there are set “standards” but ultimately everything is by individual experience. How individualized is digestion? It can be compared to driving. The body can be compared to the many different vehicles small, large, carrying extra cargo, 4 wheels, 3 wheels, 2 wheels, gas, diesel, electric, a little of both, low mileage, high mileage, the list can go on and on. Most vehicles have the same parts which can be compared to the digestive tract, when different parts are out of function it can create different issues with the vehicle engine, interior of the vehicle, or exterior of the vehicle. Just like when something is off in the digestive tract it can affect different parts of a person’s wellbeing. Then there are the drivers who operate the vehicles based on their own experiences of learning how to drive, age they learned to drive, any accidents they have been in, etc. which determines how a person drives from one place to another. The drivers can be compared to an individual’s experiences in life, the loses, gains, jobs, relationships, etc. it is how each person digests those experiences which decides how to move forward and live life fully. The Digestive Garden is about assisting in that movement.
