On one of my first hikes after my mother's passing in Feb 2024 I saw a branch that was just starting to show small buds for spring. I snapped a picture of the branch and continued my hike past a large field where I could see a sunbeam hitting a spot in the field. As I approached, I noticed a bird perched on top of the tree from which the sunbeam was peering through. When I arrived at the spot, the bird had not budged and seemed to be overlooking the whole nature preserve. I deemed this picture "A Mother's Watchful Eye". In the many hikes to follow I began taking more and more photos of nature and continue to do so. This gallery is all original photos taken by me without AI enhancement. Please feel free to use any photos as desired, nature is free to all.
